If someone today asked me why I’m a real estate agent, the first thing that comes to my mind is that since I was a kid I’ve always had a passion for houses: if they gave me lego bricks to play with, I would build small funny houses, if I had a blank sheet of paper and a pencil in front of me, they were houses that I used to draw, and when I was a bit grown, I used to spend week ends exploring ruins and hamlets in abandon, of which the countryside around Pisa was still dotted. I admit that my passion does not concern everything that has four walls and a roof: I sometimes get moved to tears when I see “old stones”, those that speak to you of a past life that does not exist anymore: cottages, farmhouses, noble villas, country homes … every typical Tuscan property is absolutely unique in its kind, and each has distinctive features and distinctive signs that you wont find in another property : each has a story to tell …it is not easy today to find ruins to be restored, so every time I happened to sell one, I sincerely hope that the new owner opts for a conservative recovery, if possible, and does not overturn the ancient structure too much. This is the reason why Toscocountry is an agency specialized in Tuscan properties and I can proudly call myself a “niche” real estate agent!
