Did you know that Tuscany is home to approximately 1 million and 151 thousand hectares of woodland, and is
therefore considered proportionately the greenest region in Italy? In practice, 50% of our beautiful territory
is covered by forests with the most diverse species such as oaks, chestnuts, beeches, holm oaks and even
domestic and maritime pines on the coasts, or silver and red firs of the Apennine ridge. Honestly, among the
many Tuscan beauty records, I wasnt aware of this aspect… and you? Did you know?
