This ancient seventeenth-century complex, attached on the north side on the external wall of a small church and set at the intersection of roads that were important in the past, has recentrly been restored, especially the roof and internal layout : it is at the moment divided into two units that could be easily connected to make it a single exclusive country home.
The main unit is set on the first and second floor with entrance : the stone staircase leads into the first floor with access to a spacious terrace facing south-west, from which to enjoy breathtaking views, while on the right we find the large dining room with kitchenette, with original fireplacedecorated with terracotta tiles. The same stone staircase leads to the second floor, with high ceilings (from 2,87 meters to 3,80 meters) and wooden chestnut beams . here we find hallway, wardrobe, two double bedrooms, and windowed bathroom.
The second unit with independent entrance is set on the ground and first floor with living room and kitchenette and two bedrooms with bathroom on the first floor reachable by an internal staircase: here too all the rooms have terracotta floors and woodedn beams. The 2 units have a total surface of circa 200 sqm but you can also decide to restore another 120 sqm on the ground floor, with access from a large courtyard, where there is an ancient bread oven. Included in the sale 4 hectares of sweet hilly land, partly flat. Palaia is easily reachable, and there are two medieval hamlets nearby so not isolated.
